April 13th 2009 - I'm the novice!

Well I suppose I'm the novice! I've had what   I would call a sort of vision book or books where I scrawl ideas and stick in pictures and write down things that make me feel good for years, but its all been a bit messy, post it notes stuck in and scrawled writing, but all along I thought I was just doing it to remember the things I would like I didn't for one minute believe other people did it as well.   So it came   as a big surprise to me, to find out that after a meeting with business partner Jackie, I spotted Jackie's dream book on her desk in a big folder, "whats this then?" I asked "oh that's my dream book she said, do you want to have a look?" Well blow me there wasn't a holiday brochure she hadn't cut up, "I have   been there, and there, and there" she said pointing at over 3/4 of the places in the book, "This is our house I designed years ago", Talk about make it happen? I was standing in that very house!.   The little drawing she had put down on paper   all those years ago, just a thought in her head, well that's what she had done, she had made it happen! Then to my surprise the same thing happened again on a holiday to visit my family, my sister jumped up and said "ooohhh   I like the sound of that I'm putting it in my book", I was thinking, what book? what is she doing, being a naturally nosy person   I got up and followed her saying "what book? what? what do you like the sound of?" only to find her with a massive book full of positive thoughts, sayings and full of pictures of things she wanted in her life!   So I thought to myself I'm having a bit of this! where do I sign up?   So I got myself a new bigger book with more pages in, and I thought HOLIDAYS mmm where shall   I start.   Well   I just googled here and there,   saved the pictures, then printed them off stuck them in,   I wrote a few little notes round them and   I was off!   Little did   I think that less than 2 weeks later,   my husband would have booked us a holiday and 2 of the places we were going were 2 of the 8 photos I had printed off!   So there you go, if I can do   it anyone can do it! I'm not promising you holidays, fancy cars, swimming pools etc   but if you have a dream then why not manifest the idea? As Tracey always says "thoughts become things!"   Lisa xx
